Joseph, who was called Barnabas (“one who encourages”), sold a field and gave the proceeds to the apostles (Acts4:36-37). When the apostles were frightened of Saul, Barnabas vouched for his good character (Acts 9:26-27). Each of us have been chosen to be a Secret Barnabas to encourage a brother or sister! Bless Them!
We just learnt in cell that JESUS chose US! What a revelation of His great Love for each one of us!
We ended cell the launch of Secret Barnabas! We are to encourage each other and to bless each other secretly!
Since we cannot call, we cannot sms, we cannot send email, unless we borrow another person's number, we figured out another way.
All you have to do is to leave an Anonymous Comment below.
So you can secretly send Encouraging Notes anonymously! Feel free to also bless your 'Barnabee' with gifts.
Be a Blessing!

Can u get any gift better?!!
"Good thought, good speech and good deed"
Obviously no!!
By the way I know you are a person who prefer valuable gifts! not a famous brand, clothes, or something like that!!!
Be always encouraged,
Your SB
Dear Joey,
Have a good week ahead! I pray that you will know that you are no longer your own, but you belong to Christ! So, in everything that you do may you know that God is in control. May every step, every word, every walk in your life be one of worship to God. The Lord confides in those who fear and trust in Him! I pray for a clear direction of the Spirit in your life as you continually surrender your heart and will to Him, every moment, every day.
Take good care!
Your SB
Dear Yimi
Just a verse to start of your week with Psalm 20:4
"May he give you the desires of your heart and make all your plans succeed"
As you continue to honour God with your life, He will too honour you. Submit your plans to him. May he grant he inmost desires of your heart and may he direct all your ways.
Have a fruitful week ahead.
Dear Josephine
As you start of your week, be reminded that to..
"Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways submit to Him, and he will make your paths straight."
Proverbs 3:5-6
In any situation you may be going through, remember that the Lord is just by your side. He is just a prayer away. So continue to put your trust and hope in him and believe that he will carry you through it all.
-Your SB
Dear Amos,
Just want to encourage you with these verses as you take on the week for your studies and exams ahead..
Proverb 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will direct your paths.
Psalm 55:22 Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.
Philippians 4:6 Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
Prayer and a godly perspective drive worry from our minds and hearts. Peace comes when we pray, release all your cares to the Lord, and focus your mind on the promises of God. Remember to fix your eyes on Jesus whenever you face any situation and struggles in life.
Love and prayers,
Your SB =)
who is anonymous by the way

Dear Sam!!!
OH MY! Did you saw what all the other SBs wrote??? Bible quotes are flying in torrents and I'm sure you've read them too.
So I don't want to overburden you. There's enough in this blog to overflow and bless both of us. So read them too and be bless!
I just wanna say: "I love your sunshine smile every time I see you!"
(especially the pearly whites, they sparkles)
You use Colgate? Darlie? Aquafresh? Crest?
I use Carrefour brand, i think. Never thought of looking at my toothpaste brand. Will check. There's 3 different tubes.
Joey!
How're you today? Just thought of you and I want to say hi!
Take care and have a nice day ya!
Cheers
Your SB
Joey,
Here's something to lighten your day! Enjoy! :D
*****
A minister parked his car in a no-parking zone in a large city because he was short of time and couldn't find a space with a meter.
So he put a note under the windshield wiper that read: "I have circled the block 10 times. If I don't park here, I'll miss my appointment. FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES."
When he returned, he found a citation from a police officer along with this note. "I've circled this block for 10 years. If I don't give you a ticket, I'll lose my job. LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION."
*****
Smile through your day today! :)
God bless!
Dear IDA ,
1 Chronicles 28:20
David also said to Solomon his son, "Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished.
Have a great week :)
Dear Qi Wen,
Here's hoping you've had a great start to your week!
Remember to live out your weeks with standing on His word and wisdom...for those who find God's wisdom, find life!
Proverbs 8:32-35
"Now then, my children, listen to me;
blessed are those who keep my ways.
Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not disregard it.
Blessed are those who listen to me,
watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway.
For those who find me find life."
:)
Your SB
Dear Jules,
Has it ever crossed your mind at any point of time; why were we born in this period of time?
in Malaysia?
in Selangor?
And then comes a string of complaints like;
Malaysia so hot la... the public transportation sucks la, the government is corrupt la, fuel price getting a hike by 20 sen in September. AIYOH!! My dream car now so expensive because of all the tax they impose! How to buy???
Then comes the 'What IFs';
How nice if I was born in the United States, or Australia..or perhaps Canada. The weather is superb, the transportation system is 183957837 times better than Kuala Lumpur. And...no car tax!! A Honda Accord costs about 20,000 USD!
In real time wages, that's even cheaper than a Kancil!
Shopping there cheaper also!
A pair of banana republic pants costs about 80.
Where as, over here? One has to fork out at least 400.
You get the idea =)
Surely there are so many things to complain and compare. Many times, we forget to THANK GOD that we are... actually...
VERY FORTUNATE that we're living at this age and in this particular part of the world.
Would we like to be living in the dark ages where there is a very very low level of education, knowledge and sanitation?
Or the mid 15th century where war still rages throughout the whole world in different regions, where the black death almost wiped out europe, where slavery was a common occurrence. Women's rights were extremely subdued too. When China sent out emissaries to different countries, each ship brought at least a 100 slave women as a token of gift. The emperor claimed to have 10,000 countries visited by his emissaries. That's quite a staggering number of slaves.
What about the 19th century?
The world saw two world wars which claimed about 300 million lives.
Communism itself almost claimed as much through Lenin, Stalin and Mao.
What about the present day?
United States is facing a economic meltdown. Palestine, Iraq, Afgan are still facing its problems. And I don't need to say much about living in remote places like papua new guinea, bangladesh, india, africa and north china.
Having said all that..
YOU are blessed.
Know why? =)
You live in KL where we have a perfect range of living necessities and wants.
Apart from the ruckus in Perak, the political situation in our country is still stable.
You don't have to face all the above mentioned events.
And above all else, you are a participant of the biggest vice of all Malaysians by default.
Don't you just love the food here???????
Roti canai, murtabak, Briyani, banana leaf rice, nasi lemak, ikan bakar, asam laksa, rendang, chicken rice, chee cheong fun, cendol, ais kacang, rojak, wan tan mee, char siew pau, prawn mee, sang har mee, char kuay teow, pork ribs marinated with guiness, kajang satay!!!!!!
JALAN 222 HOKKIEN MEEE!!!!!!!!
Pakistan got no hokkien mee, okay?
Be encouraged =)
- Barnabas
Wah...beh tahan already.
Later tonight I must go tapau some mutton briyani. Tell the macha to tambah lagi some kari kambing and yoghurt with sliced onions. WoooooOoooOOo~~~ *lau hau sui*

How have your weekend been and haven't seen you in cell for a very long time oledi:-
Psalm 150:6
LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD.
PRAISE THE LORD.

Hey Ye Ling,
I'm your barnabas.. So ya, hi :)
Hope that your week will be a fulfilling and rewarding one..
Your SB
Dearest Sam,
JESUS LOVES YOU!
Commit all things unto Him and He will bless you in multiple folds. He sees your heart desires and will grant your wishes in due time.
His love for you endures forever.
Press on and may your life be filled with His powerful love.
-Romans 8:39-
Dear Amos, (and everyone else who's reading) :)
Read this in a devotional. Hope this will bless you just as it did for me.
His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor His delight in the legs of a man; the Lord delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love. - Psalm 147:10-11
One thing God does not need is our skills and abilities. However, He does give us the privilege to exercise our gifts and abilities for His service.
The psalmist tells us that His pleasure is not in our strength and ability, but His pleasure is in the attitude of the heart. It is what we find in the heart that helps determine whether ability is translated into availability. You see God is looking to and fro throughout the earth for a man or woman who is fully committed to Him. A man or woman who is committed to fearing the Lord and placing his hope in His unfailing love is the person God seeks to support. "For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him" (2 Chron. 16:9a). When our agenda becomes His agenda, we can expect God to fully support all that we do.
I pray that God will use your skills and abilities that He has given you to accomplish His purposes on this earth. I pray that you will also avail yourself willingly to Him as He opens up the opportunity for you to serve Him. May He multiply your skills and gifts for His glory and you'll find fulfillment in everything that you do. Amen. :)

Dear Peter
You're gonna do great. Be encouraged.

dear samaneh,
hope ur having an awesome week
To : Samaneh
Do you know how much God loves you? He doesn't just let you slip in the backdoor and stay in the kitchen like a servant. No, He races out to meet you with the best robe, a ring and a great feast. His attitude toward you has nothing to do with your behavior.
I have recently read Henri Nouwen's book, The Return of the Prodigal Son, based on Jesus' parable in Luke 15. In it he paints a vivid picture of how much God loves us. God loves each one of us who leaves home to go our own way. He also loves those who stay at home, following the rules but harboring resentment in their hearts. And God's love does not compare - He doesn't love one child more than another. As Nouwen said, "He sees with love the passion of his younger son, even when it is not regulated with obedience. With the same love, [H]e sees the obedience of the elder son, even when it is not vitalized by passion" (p 76).
1 John 3:1 says, "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!" You are a child of God! The world may try to tell you that you aren't worth much, that you aren't smart enough or pretty enough or good enough, but God, the Creator of the world says, "No, she is my child and I love her."
~ O God, help me listen to Your voice, not the lies of the world. Help me to believe that You have lavished love on me and have called me Your child.
-your sb-

samaneh:
ur such a bubly character
ye ling, is that u ??????
Dear Jules,
Wanna know my secret to having a perpetually good mood? I've 2.
The first one; smile.
Okay. It's not exactly a secret but many of us fail to do it. I'm not saying you gotta go smiling to everybody you meet on the street like a mad woman.
I'm suggesting that we smile whenever we can. A smile uses much less facial muscles than it does to frown. Besides, smiling itself IS infectious. Remember that old saying 'smile and the world smiles with you'? Well, it's very true.
The next time you walk into a group of friends, cell, or church, put on a smile and I guarantee you will see the difference =)
The 2nd tip is; small little gestures.
What I mean by small little gestures is...well... it's basically be nice to people around you.
Some examples:
- saying thank you
- holding the elevator
- let an elderly lady/man have your seat in the lrt
- having good manners
etc etc..
Now, I must say that not everybody will respond positively. I've had my fair share of bitter experiences when trying to be nice. Let me tell you the most recent one.
I was sipping coffee in starbucks with a book and the day's newspaper. The table beside me? Was this family; A couple with 2 kids and their parents. I'd say their parents were about 60-70 years old. So..they ordered drinks. Sat down. Talked a bit. And then the couple, the 2 kids and the grandmother left the cafe.
Dumped all the shopping bags for the grandfather to look after. For a good 30 minutes, the uncle just sat down staring into empty space looking so bored.
I had a newspaper right? I was thinking of letting him read it to past his time. But I thought "nevermindla... his family should be back soon. 30 minutes already"
45 minutes passed. Uncle still sitting down alone with no one to talk to. I couldn't take it. You can't just leave your father like that for 45 minutes!!
So, I called out to him.
"Uncle? I've today's newspaper. Do you wanna read it?"
He turned my way, looked at me gesturing the newspaper to him. And then looked away!
I got snubbed!
And there was another time where i got snubbed for saying thank you to the guy holding the elevator!
However, nothing beats the smile of the security guard when I asked him how he is today.
Or when I offered the cafeteria aunty a lift back to college when I saw her walking on the streets.
Or the joy that erupted in the car of a family who was looking for a parking space in mid valley when I directed them to my car.
That was awesome =)
Do something nice to someone this week. Smile + small little gestures will make a difference in someone's life and yours too.
Smile and the world smiles with you.
Be encouraged =)
-Barnabas

Have a good week ahead.Smile...

Dearest Sam!
Being a responsible Barnabas, I took the effort to take a good scrutinizing look at you to make sure I can remember you well for the rest of my life... in adoration........ for God has done a great job on you!
I was so pleasantly surprise that I found you not only having a gorgeous sparkling smile, you have super duper nice smooth complexion too. Ah... so beautiful!
For you as a physical trainer, I pray that you would not only succeed in every aspect in your job scope and more, but your clients will melt under your wow-wow boyish good looks. For God has His favour upon your life, rest assured in His amazing love.
Go Sam! Go Sam!

Dear Jules,
I'm pretty sure when you send someone a text message, it usually takes place in daylight..or at night. But certainly when someone is still awake. For some reason or other, I seem to be getting text messages at ungodly hours!
Last wednesday, 2.33am: "Eh..angels and demons nice to watch ar?" This is a friend i rarely talk to.
Last Friday, 1.45am:
"Can bring me a cup of water? Lazy to come down la.. hehe"
That was my sister texting from upstairs.
Yesterday, 4.53am:
"Yang, Nak tengok klip bideo sya yang panas? Bang x prlu byar. Cuma hantar 'PANAS' ke nombor...."
@_O
This morning.. I was fortunate.
7.00am:
"Good morning people!! I got this off a book last night.
- To live a successful and meaningful life, is not how much you make, is not what you got, is not even how much you give.
At the end of your life, the things you will reflect on is the things you fail to take action, the opportunities you fail to seize, the guy/girl you fail to love and pursue or...the person that you wanted to be. Why make it so?
Today you can change all that.
Today, you can turn your regrets into blessing.
Today, you can be who you are and do what you want.
Seize the day!
A meaningful life is one without regrets and that~ I believe is success"
Be encouraged

You are precious!
You are loved!
You have a special place in His heart!
Dear Esther
Know that God has awesome plans for your life.. If He were to take care of the birds of the air and the lilies of the field, how much more will He look after you.. Don't worry about what tomorrow holds, your life is perfectly laid out in God's hands..
Continue to seek His face and He will surely bless you abundantly!
Dear Joel
It's really been a privilege to know such a wonderful friend. Though you might not have know it but you have blessed my life and others around.
You're finally done with your studies! YAY!! May God be glorified through you.

We've missed you very much at cell. Hope to see you around more often.
Hi Leroy!!
Thank you for being such a blessing to us here in the cell. I thought it was rather nice and fun to see you every week. Keep being SO faithful and diligent in everything that you're doing for the Lord. May He grant you wisdom and strength as you work and labour for the Cause. Know that nothing you have done, are doing, or will do is ever in vain. Bless you and keep on keeping on!! :)
Be blessed and enjoy the rest of the week!
Take care! :)
Hi Audrey,
How are you doing ya babe? I hope you're well. Do continue to knock at the door of heaven and shine ever so brightly wherever you may be found. I know for certain that there's much potential in you, awaiting to be drawn out! So, keep sowing your prayers and tears. Even when nobody notices, the Lord knows. And what more?! The Lord confides in those whon fear Him and trust in Him. Be encouraged and know that your best days are still in front of you! Not behind!! :)
Love ya!
Dear Joanna,
I always remember you as someone sweet and tender-loving. You have a gentleness that can comfort the broken, a care that can reach into a hurting soul and a strength that is unspoken. Do continue to avail yourself to God and keep on seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness. Many times, the Lord will release His blessings and your heart's desire when you are so intimately drawn into Him. Don't grow weary ya! Be a blessing to many many as you are!
Take care!
Dear Ye Ling
One more paper left!!! Continue to press on..
Be encouraged! Know that it is:-
"Not by might, not by power, but by my Spirit says the Lord". Zech 4:6
Break every discouragement right not in Jesus' name. You are made whole and perfect!! You will not only do well for this last paper but you will do exceptionally well!!!
Take heart that God is by your side and He is just a prayer away.
Dear Josephine
In the lowest of times,
In the joy-est of times,
When you are discouraged,
When you are disheartened,
When there seems like there's no hope left,
He is there!
He has been there every second of it. Continue to present your request before Him. You are not alone in this race. He is just by your side and He will carry you through.
Love
Your SB

Psalm 1:24
Hello there, Yin Soon.
Hmm...recent events have made me realized/remember that life is short. So,live your life to the full!
May your life be one that's glorifying God's name.(Hmm...wait,it already is? Oops...ok,keep it up then :) )
-Extracted from the fictitiously existing book "No,I don't have 'can, sir' or other terminal illnesses except for Think-Too-Much Syndrome".

Dear Ida's SB,
The first verse you chose for her couldn't be more apt, more timely. She thanks you and God for that.
May God strengthen you in your work and life.
Your SB.hehe joking...your identity has not been leaked. It remains a Top Secret and Confidential File.haha
WAH! SAM!
Did you see ALLLLLLL the messages?! It's only been 2 days since I last hopped in here and another 20 nice messages flooded this area. We have such lovely cell members, don't we? We should love them all.
It's been so far a crazy week for me as there's so much so much work and the pile is getting bigger and bigger and my internet is oh-so-slow today, which hinders my work pace. sigh...
Hope yours isn't affected by slow internet connection. =P
SMILE your handsome smile today!
Dear Jules,
I love chemistry. In high school, chemistry was everything. I memorized the periodical table, the ion charges, the formulas, the principles and I got the grades.
That was all thanks to a teacher who taught chemistry well. It was my tuition teacher; Nirmala at section 8!!!
My chemistry teacher in school on the other hand....
Well, let's just say that she was bad. She sucks at teaching (notice i'm using present tense. I'm pretty sure she still sucks). She sucks in chemistry. She's got a bad voice. Bad air about her. Her hairstyle was bad. Her sense of dressing was bad. There's only one thing she's good at; Being a bad chemistry teacher.
You get the idea =)
One fine day in Form 5 right after recess, my friend and I whipped out the class schedule to see what was next. And to our dismay and horror, Chemistry was next!!!
Come on~ right after recess????!!
So both of us got down to praying this prayer;
Dear Lord,....
*sigh*
*double sighs*
We're having chemistry in the next period. And you know how much we dislike her and her class. Lord, we pray that you grant us a free period so that we can monkey around!! Do our stuff! Catch up with our mathematics homework!
We don't want her coming to class.
We don't want her showing up.
And we certainly do not want to hear her voice!
AMEN!!!"
When we made that prayer, we both certainly knew that God will hear our prayer from one ear and out from the other, and will probably do an ROFL.
It was 15 minutes since recess ended. No sign of Mrs. Han.
Our hopes were high. Could god have answered our prayers?!??!
Just as I nudged my friend and said "eh bradder!! I don't think she's coming!!",
She walks right in!!!!!
OH NO!!!!!!! WHY?!?!?!
DEPRESSION!!!
COMMIT SUICIDE!!!
JUMP DOWN THE BUILDING!!!
So she walks in..
Walks to her desk, dump her books and bag on the table.
Picks up a chalk, and started writing on the blackboard
"I have no voice today because I am having a bad sore throat. Please do your own work"
@_O
I'd like to remember Matthew 7:7 and 18:20 in that oh-so-true-I'm-really-not-telling-a-lie story.
God has a sense of humor too =)

Dear Ye Ling,
"And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me." -Matthew 14:29,30
It is to our loss as believers, that so oftentimes we forget the simplest teachings of the Scriptures. Peter was able to walk on the water by faith, until he took his eyes off Jesus, looking at the storm's tempest instead. What a truth!
So often we take our eyes off the Lord, because of troubles and problems.
When we find our self in these situations--frustrated, discouraged, and angry --we need to focus our eyes once again upon the Word of God, i.e., the Lord Jesus Christ.
So, I just want to leave these words with you -- keep your eyes on the Lord and you won't go under! :)

To Joey's SB:
There is no cell this coming week
Dear Sam!
How was your week?
(please circle the appropriate answer)
A. awesome
B. busy
C. challenging
D. dreadful
..................................
Choose answer A:
Great!!! We know God is great and we shall claim all the goodness that He has provided for us so abundantly. So, give all glory to God and share your testimony in cell and encourage me too ya!
Choose answer B:
As you go about your busy day, remember to pause a while and go back to God to recharge, so that He may strengthen you with power and wisdom! let your busy day be fruitful and build you up for greater capacity to receive more blessings!
Choose answer C:
Life without its challenges is not life, may you depend upon the Lord as you go through all challenges to come out of it stronger, wiser, healthier, patient-er, joyful-er, smarter, handsome-r, muscular, wow-er...... the key note here is not all the -er -er... but 'depend on God'
Choose answer D:
Dear God, Sam is not having a good week, if it the the harsh scorching sun, cover him with your umbrella, if it is nasty fat customers, give him the fruit of patience, if it is the evil forces of the devil, You empower him so that the enemies will be under his feet, if it is bad relationships, whispers 'i love you' into his heart to assure him that he is deeply loved... whatever it is Lord, may You be his tower of refuge and strength that You will carry him through it all. Amen!

Remember Psalm 23:4
"Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me."
We face many moments when we fall in valley's of our lives. Do not forgot that God is with us in all that we do. May that reminder encourage us to walk on in those hard times.
To Sam
Do not forget too that when we are on the mountains of our lives, we are to thank God. I understand how easy it is to be lost in the Blessings given us that we end up caught up with everything asked of us and forget the Lord. He will always find ways to remind us to return to Him.
To Samaneh :
Philippians 4:6 is for you
"Do not worry about anything; instead, pray about everything, tell God what we need and thank Him for all He has done"
Hope you have recovered. Do hope to see you in cell and in church more often.
Weng Yan, take notice of this verse too. Be it 6k or 8k, leave it all to God. 6k and 8k are both trivial sums in Gods eyes.
Dear Jules,
Do you like your room? I love my room. I like it neat. I like things orderly. I like that feeling of bliss when you walk into your room knowing it's so darn neat. But most of all, I LOVE the privacy that comes within the 4 walls. When the door is closed and nobody is watching.
Because that's when we truly are ourselves. We embraced the person deep within. We grow GUTS! We do whatever we want without feeling embarrassed.
Bill Clinton did something naughty.
Robert deNiro turned from vicious pirate to pondan in Stardust.
Bruce Wayne turned into Batman in his basement.
But of course, those are the extreme polar ends.
The most often thing done by regular people when they're in the confines of their four walls? SINGING.
And no prizes for guessing, that's what I did several weeks ago.
Curious about what happened to United Live, I ran a search on youtube. And I came across some songs from the new hillsong album which I have never heard before.
I'm in my room. check.
Nobody is in my room. check.
Door is closed and locked. check.
Parents asleep. check.
What happened next was some serious yodeling that started from 2.30 am to 4.30am.
Even the frogs hopped a good 1000m away from my house.
So, here are two songs which I really found meaningful.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALDojndUTCk

Gone are the days where christian music aren't just slapstick lyrics.
I'll let you interpret the lyrics in your own way.
As for the united live album?
They just released a new live album last week =)
Be encouraged.

Dear Mark SB,
How are you doing? Haven't been seeing you for a long long time.
Hi Joey,
How are you doing? Have a good week ahead! Pop some chocolates down your throat and keep on knocking on the door of heaven! The Lord watches His children always!
Take care,
SB
Hey Sam!
As promise, I'm back with better encouragement for you today!
It has been a blissful Sunday/Monday for me as I lazed, chilled, and did everything I love and avoid doing everything that I don't love. it was blissful. *wink* It's call procrastination.
But, I've to face the consequences of that treat now as I don't really have the luxury for such self indulgence.
You see, I'm a mean little thing to myself... I like to stretch myself like a rubber band and test the amount of things I can take on at one time, at the eleventh hour. I'll have these adrenaline rushing through me as I rush to meet my deadlines and accomplish them in record time with still beautiful execution to my work. I'm a professional procrastinator.
So how are you to be encouraged by this?
I'm sure everyone procrastinates, including You! (Hah! I knew it!)
But sometimes, I also know that the consequences of procrastination is not so pretty as we *gasp* curse and swear to God, going "WHY! WHY do I have to do this?" and suffer in disgrace to our own fault of pushing things to the last minute.
Serve us right, doesn't it?
But thank God for God! We have a Father in heaven who shakes his head at us, looking upon the silly things that we do to ourselves and patiently wait... and wait...
Wait?? For WHAT you might ask.
For us to ask Him for help!
So that He can sent forth His grace and mercy and renew our strength and given us wisdom and power... by the end of the day, when all is well when work is done, we give Him the glory He deserves.
So, whenever when there's difficult things that you have to face (because of procrastination or whatever reason...) Remember to call upon the name of the Lord, and you'll be saved. (even when we don't deserve it)
but......
God is Good, All the Time!
*wink*
Your professional procrastinator SB

Hope you enjoy your work and life. have a look at your week and see how God loves you.

My dear SB!
I know you're a man/woman of actions though you don't pop by in this blog often, I hope your blessings and encouragements will pour forth in actions! YIPPEEEE!
I'm greatly, deeply loved, so are you too!
HUGS
Dear Sam!
How's your week? We have not been seeing you a while and all of us are missing you tremendously!
Have you ever missed someone? How at times when your heart flops when a friend you deeply cherish did not turn up. All the pent-up excitement and joy that you wish to share are forced to flow somewhere else. But that's ok too, for I believe any type of joy shared is good anyway, love should always overflow. Direction should not be a matter.
Last week Ps Edmund share such interesting stuff. What strike me the most is being a homophilly= Deep sincere love shared between the same gender. (without the sexual romance though)
I hope all of us in cell will grow to be homophilly... spread our love in little care acts, and just be lovey-dovey with one another... between the same sex. It'll be so fun to see a cell group so filled with love...
ahh... maybe this post sounds a little funny... but who cares...
I wanna say, I LOVE YOU ALL!
muacks!
We're all greatly loved and should be in love, with one another and especially with Jesus!
with love,
SB
Hi Esther
Wonder how your week has been.
Here's a really short quote (for the stormy days, the not so stormy days and er...any other days you think applicable). Oh yes, back to the really short quote:
Sorrow looks back...
Worry looks around...
Faith looks up.
Nine words and nine dots. Now that's what I call a really short quote.:)
Oh...on the sunshiny days, shine along with the sun ya.:)

Hi Sam!
Have you ever experienced butterflies in your stomach? You have this tingling nervousness as you know you'll be encountering something special, something delightful in your life. What do you do with this feeling?
I'd like to capture these butterflies in a glass bottle. So that I can always look at them, and remember the wonderful tinkling feelings that make these special events in our lives, special.
May you have some butterflies this week, smile and remember that God has something special in store for you!
love,
SB
Hi Esther,
Important piece of news I have for you here. You got to know this : South Korean food companies to set up safety INFECTION facility in China. (Ok...so this news is not important, and I didn't copy it word for word from the Bernama channel and it's not really funny...)
What I'm trying to say is go and find laughter today! Find something funny and laugh at it. Be it a puppy trying to bark ferociously, a caterpillar trying to tie its shoelaces or someone making a poor attempt at being humorous (it's not me....it's not me...maybe).Laugh! Laugh! Laugh!
May you find laughter even when there's nothing to laugh about.Haha<<(here's an example where you laugh when there's nothing to laugh about.Insert more hahas on your own)
Note: I have nothing against South Korean food companies or China or Bernama.Giving them free ad space here.
Your SB...haha
Hi Esther,
Here's yet another quote:
THERE'S A WONDERFUL METHOD OF RELIEVING FATIGUE CAUSED BY OVERWORK : IT'S CALLED "REST." (Ashleigh Brilliant,Pot-shot #2140, copyright 1981)
So,if you've overworked your body or brain (including your facial muscles from laughing hard at nothing funny),take a break.Press the Pause button.Get some rest.Listen to lullabies and crocodiles singing.
May you find rest in the Lord too.
Your SB.

In regards to my previous post, I'd like to bring your attention to Chuck Norris.

Bruce Lee's nemesis.
Walker, Texas Ranger.
Chun Kuk Do founder and creator.
Kick-ass martial arts actor and winner of numerous fight tournaments.
Or at least of late, more know on the internet as the basis of the "Chuck Norris Facts"
Chuck Norris Fact no.1
Chuck Norris created the giraffe when he gave the horse an upper cut.
Fact no.2
Chuck Norris can slam a revolving door.
Fact no.3
Chuck Norris' keyboard has no CTRL key because... He is always in control!
Fact no.4
Chuck Norris can delete the recycle bin.
Kalau Chuck Norris boleh. Jules pun boleh.
Go delete some recycle bins!
Be encouraged.

Hi Sam!
What do you do when you encounter something way beyond your your capability to handle?
For me, I'll first feel the grip of fear overtaking me, then sickening feeling nausea, then a sinking feeling that I'm going to die. Because the problem can become so big, so overwhelming and manifest like a giant monster.
Oh jeez, and then I snap out of it. I have a great God. Though things can be impossible, all things are possible to those to trust in Him.
It's not easy, when I don't have a clue on what I'm really doing, but commit all things unto the Lord.
I'm so glad we have a great and merciful God whose grace comes in abundance and we just have to trust in Him.
C'mon, let's Amen to that!
May you commit and trust in the Lord in all that you do!
Cheers,
SB

Dearest:
Ye Ling
There is a verse from me to my dear sister in christ that you are leaving for UK.
The verse is taken from:
1 Peter Chapter 2:9
But you are chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light. And there is another interesting verse for you, that is taken from John 3:16- For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Daughter, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
